The British Columbia Conservative Party is pleased to introduce its MLA candidate for the Mid Island-Pacific Rim Electoral District: Julian Fell. Media Release (04/23/2017) Port Alberni, BC - Fell, 69, is a retired Project Manager and sits on the Regional District of Nanaimo in his second term as the elected Director for his Errington, Coombs and Arrowsmith area.

"The endorsement of a fine candidate with regional government experience is another sign the B.C. Conservative Party will be competitive in numerous constituencies," said Corbin Mitchell, president of the Party.

Obtaining his PhD from the University of Maine in 1976, Julian has lived in Errington since 1992. He and his wife have a daughter.

As a member of several Regional District committees, Julian has witnessed many frustrated citizens and says, "I believe the goal for elected representatives should be to increase bottom up democracy. If there is a problem, local people are the first to have to deal with it. The Province is downloading by default in a failure to do the Provincial duty. I look forward to working with the BC Conservative Party as it gains influence at the provincial level. It is only at the provincial level where several regional and municipal issues can be corrected."

"With good people like Julian coming forward to run for us, our prospects are looking better and that's a good for the province too," said Bob Bray, Campaign Manager.
