Starring some familiar faces to the region this movie is sure to bring laughs and even a tear or two. Gary Stackhouse, longtime radio man, Saint John Idol winner for 2014 Kyle Wills, and founders of the video game contest Fight for Infinity Nelson Hum & Adriano Silva all star in this road trip buddy movie.

Written and directed by Robert Parsons, produced by Elaine Shannon and executive produced by Richard MacQueen of Halifax, Nova Scotia. "The Divorce" is a comedy which follows the weekend antics of four close friends on a road trip to aid in the healing of their comrade's freshly signed divorce. Due to circumstances along the way, they never get to the intended destination but they do learn a whole lot more and about trust, relationships, and the meaning of true friendship.

"With this next film, we want our audience to forget the stresses of life and laugh with us. Even the most trying circumstances in life need to be laughed at, and that was our goal.", said Robert Parsons.

Viewers from the region will recognize some of the locations as it was the film maker's intention to use the natural beauty of New Brunswick as a backdrop to remind everyone just how lucky we are to have this wonderful land we call home.

With score and music provided by some of the area's best known artists, viewers are going to be left inspired when the credits roll and they leave the theatre. From Code of Silence, Marissa Rignanesi, WhiteWater, and the Playdates there isn't a genre you won't hear. New Brunswick has one of the most diverse communities in Canada. We represent that in this movie.

Let Em Laugh Productions is also launching a fundraiser campaign on Indiegogo to get "The Divorce" in front of as many eyes as possible. To accomplish their goal of submitting it to as many film festivals as possible, the campaign will provide money to cover the cost for submission as add up quickly.
