Press Release: Registration has begun for the Hespeler Scorpions Volleyball Club "NEW" Grade 7-8 House League Program

The Waterloo Region's newest volleyball club, the Hespeler Scorpions, are offering a new developmental co-ed house league program for Grade 7 and 8 students of Cambridge and area. The league is for students who have some experience in volleyball either through playing on their school teams or have completed the Scorpions SPIKES Learn to Play Program.

The league will run Monday nights from January till March 2011. There will be 8 teams with 7 players on each team. There will be a 15 minute instructional session followed by a one hour game.

Club founder Paul Langan states, " There seems to be a lot of interest from the parents and their kids in grades 7 and 8 in providing the house league program. We make it affordable and provide a safe, fun, healthy environment to play volleyball."

The House League program will cost $60.00 and includes a Scorpions T-shirt. Space is limited to 56 children. If you have a 2nd child registered in any of the Scorpions program it is only $35.00.
