Kyoto Mercantile Exchange (KMEX) announced the retirement of long-time Research Director, Susumu Kenshin

Kyoto Mercantile Exchange (KMEX) today announced the retirement of long-time Research Director, Susumu Kenshin, and the hiring of Kameko Itsuki for the research office.

“It’s always hard to lose staff that have been with us for several years, because they become like a part of my own family, so it was bittersweet when Susumu Kenshin informed me he would be retiring.  Having been with us for ten years, he has been a quintessential Research Director and senior advisor on staff.  The work he did for the constituents in and around the Exchange truly awarded him the title of market master.  He has served as a terrific liaison to residents, businesses, nonprofits, and city and county officials.  We wish he and his wife, Karen, all the best as he moves into retirement.

“While the newest member of the staff has hard shoes to fill, I am 100% confident in our new Research Director, and delighted she has joined the KMEX team.  We will greatly benefit from her active conservative work in the Asia Pacific Rim and through the National Congressional Committee.  The connections, experience, and boundless drive Kameko is brining to our research office will make her a wonderful addition to the staff.  We are looking forward to coordinating with her to help tackle pressing issues in the region.”Said KMEX’s CEO Ryouichi Yasuhiro.
