Press Release: Tom Podstawka to Coach Scorpions 16U Competitive Girls Team

The Scorpions Youth Volleyball Club announces the hiring of former York  & Nipissing  University player Tom Podstawka to coach their 16U girls competitive team. Press Release (07/14/2014) Cambridge, Ontario - The Scorpions Youth Volleyball Club is expanding its competitive indoor coaching staff.

The Scorpions indoor volleyball program is growing each year. The program consists of SPIKES learn to play, house league, sitting volleyball and competitive teams. They estimate 500 youth will be registered in their indoor program in the fall. The club will have 10 competitive girls teams and 3 boys competitive teams.

Tom Podstawka, along with his extensive indoor experience is also a former Canadian National Junior Beach Team Member, 2X National Beach Champion, 2X Provincial Beach Champion.

The 16U girls Scorpions competitive girls team last year were a Division 1 Tier 2 siler medal provincial championship team.

His quiet professionlism is exactly what we are looking for.I have no doubt he is the coach to take the 16U girls competitive team to the next level"
