A few days after publishing New posters for The Last of UsHBO and Sky have revealed the new official trailer for the highly anticipated TV series Pedro Pascal And the Bella Ramsey Inspired by the popular and award-winning video game Play Station.
The series will come out Exclusively on Sky and broadcasting only on NOW from 16th January 2023 Completely simultaneously with the broadcast in the US, it will be available in all the regions that Sky has a presence, including the UK, Ireland, and obviously Italy, Germany, Austria and Switzerland. It shows the new promotional film, which you can find as always in the article The story that will be told in the first season: The last of us The film is set twenty years after the destruction of modern civilization and sees Joel, a cunning survivor, tasked with extracting 14-year-old Ellie from a heavily guarded quarantine area. A seemingly easy task quickly turns into a brutal and harrowing journey, in which the two will have to cross the United States together and depend on each other to survive.
It stars Pedro Pascal as Joel and rising British star Bella Ramsey as Ellie. They are joined by Gabriel Luna as Tommy, Anna Torv as Tess, and British actress Nico Parker as Sarah. Murray Bartlett as Frank, Nick Offerman as Bill, Storm Reid as Riley, and Merle Dandridge as Marilyn. The cast also includes Jeffrey Pierce as Perry, Lamar Johnson as Henry, Kevon Woodard as Sam, Graham Greene as Marlon, Ellen Miles as Florence, as well as Ashley Johnson and Troy Baker.
The series is written by Craig Mazin (Chernobyl) and Neil Druckmann (The Video Game The last of us) who are also executive producers. The last of us is a Sony Pictures Television co-production with Caroline Strauss, Evan Wells, Asad Qizilbash, Carter Swan and Rose Lamm as executive producers. The series is produced by PlayStation Productions, Word Games, The Mighty Mint, and Naughty Dog.
