In these minutes Capcom has updated the information for the next upgrade of Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3 and Resident Evil 7 about PS5 and Xbox Series X | S.adding some details aboutFree update and save transfer.

In some new tweets from the official account, how to save and all the progress are highlighted will transfer From the versions currently in use to the next generation versions, such as PS4 and Xbox One to PS5 and Xbox Series X | S, they remain within the same family of controllers. The free upgrade is confirmed, that is, there will be no price for the operation in question.

Along with the main games too any DLC Owned by Resident Evil 2, 3 and 7 will automatically carry over to the next generation new release for PS5 and Xbox Series X | S. Note that the upgrade is valid for both Digital and disc versions: In the latter case, those who own the games on disc will get the next generation versions digitally, but it will still be necessary to keep the disc in the drive in order to use the new releases.

Capcom also clarified that it has no plans to release Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3 and Resident Evil 7 on PS5 and Xbox Series X | S is in the physical version, for now. Thus, the games in question will be digital only, available for purchase or free upgrade.
