If you want to make your dreams come true, the first thing you have to do is wake up.

You can have anything you want if you are willing to give up everything you have.

From the Gospel of Mark (Mark 1, 1-8)
The beginning of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, as written in the prophet Isaiah: “Behold, I send my messenger before you, and he will prepare your way. A voice crying in the wilderness: Prepare the way of the Lord; make straight his paths.” There was John who was baptized in the wilderness and announced the baptism of conversion for the forgiveness of sins. And the whole region of Judea and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem gathered to him. They were baptized by him in the Jordan River, confessing their sins. John was wearing camel hair, with a leather belt around his waist, and he ate locusts and wild honey. He declared: “After me comes someone stronger than me, and I am not worthy to stoop down and untie the straps of his sandals. I baptized you with water, but he will baptize you with the Holy Spirit.”

The image described in the Gospel of the Second Sunday of Advent is a very special image, in fact the Evangelist expresses the fulfillment of prophecy: the voice that Isaiah speaks is the voice of John the Baptist and the content of the message of the ancient prophet is like the last of the prophets.
Waiting for the coming of Jesus does not require patience, but in order to receive the Lord, it is necessary to pave the way for Him into our hearts, and it is necessary to remove the paths of heavy rocks in our daily lives. Perhaps it is time for review, for beautiful confession, it is time to listen to what the Lord wants to say to you through the word, life and others.
Each of us is called to be a bearer of prophecy: try to feel that desire to declare, to speak, to make known the person you are falling in love with, because he is your perfect match for your life and your story.
