Free August 3 festival to feature Glen Washington, Exco Levi, Tonya P and family-friendly cultural celebrations
BRAMPTON, Ont. — The JAMBANA One World Festival will return to Brampton Sports Park on Monday, Aug. 3, 2026, bringing a full day of live music, Caribbean culture, food and community programming as part of Canada’s Emancipation Day celebrations.
Presented by TD in collaboration with the City of Brampton, the free festival has become one of Canada’s leading multicultural events, drawing thousands of visitors annually to celebrate the history, heritage and contributions of the African and Caribbean diaspora while promoting diversity and inclusion.
Running from 1 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., the event will offer live performances, cultural showcases, artisan vendors, international cuisine and activities designed to engage visitors of all ages.
International and Canadian Artists Headline the Celebration
Reggae Icons Lead the 2026 Entertainment Lineup
This year’s festival will be headlined by internationally acclaimed Jamaican reggae singer Glen Washington, whose decades-long career and soulful performances have earned him a global following.
Joining Washington on stage will be an extensive lineup of Canadian and international performers, including six-time Juno Award winner Exco Levi & High Priest, two-time Juno Award nominee Tonya P, the energetic Pan Masters Steelband, and DJ Joshua Lucas, who will provide music throughout the day.
Additional performances are scheduled throughout the festival, offering attendees a broad mix of reggae, Caribbean rhythms and multicultural entertainment.

Festival organizers say JAMBANA continues to serve as both a celebration and an opportunity for education, recognizing the significance of Emancipation Day while highlighting the enduring influence of African and Caribbean communities across Canada.

Organizers say the combination of music, food, arts and family activities has helped establish JAMBANA as one of the Greater Toronto Area’s signature summer festivals, attracting residents and visitors from across the region.
