TORONTO, Massey Hall is introducing a new monthly live music and industry networking series in Toronto, with the inaugural IN ROTATION showcase scheduled for November 18, 2026, at TD Music Hall inside Allied Music Centre.
The free event series will provide emerging Canadian musicians with opportunities to perform before audiences, music industry professionals and media representatives. Each monthly edition will feature three rising artists performing 30-minute sets, alongside a networking session designed to encourage connections within Canada’s music industry.
The opening showcase will feature Oshawa musician 646yf4t, singer-songwriter Nia Nadurata and London, Ontario, rock trio Thunder Queens.
IN ROTATION Aims to Support Emerging Canadian Music Talent
The new initiative is designed to highlight musicians who have already developed momentum in their careers and are preparing to reach wider audiences.
Organized under the Massey Hall Presents banner, IN ROTATION will combine live performances with professional networking opportunities, creating a platform for artists to connect with industry representatives, potential collaborators and music audiences.
Each event will run from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., beginning with a one-hour networking mixer before performances start at 7 p.m.
The format reflects the importance of smaller performance venues in Canada’s music ecosystem, where developing artists can gain stage experience, build professional relationships and introduce their work to new listeners.
By offering free admission, organizers are also seeking to make the showcases accessible to audiences interested in discovering emerging talent.
Three Ontario Artists Headline November 18 Launch
The inaugural lineup represents different musical styles, ranging from alternative R&B and indie pop to punk and grunge.
646yf4t Brings Genre-Blending Music to TD Music Hall
Oshawa-based musician 646yf4t, also known as Babyfat, will perform at TD Music Hall following the release of his debut EP, Growing Pains (Sincerely Yours), in 2025.
His music combines stream-of-consciousness storytelling with elements of alternative R&B, punk rock and experimental production.
The artist began performing live in 2026, building on the attention surrounding his recorded material. His appearance at IN ROTATION will mark his TD Music Hall debut.
His recent release, Alright, alright, offers another example of his evolving musical direction.
Nia Nadurata to Showcase Indie Pop and R&B Sound
Singer-songwriter Nia Nadurata will bring her combination of pop, indie and R&B influences to the November event.
Nadurata has developed her musical approach through years of songwriting and vocal performance, focusing on personal experiences and emotional themes.
Her repertoire includes I Think I Like Your Girlfriend, a song that highlights her contemporary pop style.
Her participation adds a melodic and R&B-oriented element to the inaugural showcase.
Thunder Queens Represent Ontario’s Emerging Rock Scene
London, Ontario-based Thunder Queens will complete the opening lineup.
The teenage trio, comprising Violet, Lola and Clara, combines grunge, punk and heavier rock influences with layered vocal harmonies.
The group has previously shared stages with established performers including The Beaches, Frank Turner, The Dirty Nil, OMBIIGIZI, The Violent Femmes and Daniel Romano.
Thunder Queens have also been the subject of a rock documentary executive-produced by Tegan and Sara.
Their appearance will introduce the audience to the band’s developing sound and growing presence within Canada’s independent rock community.
Free Admission and Industry Networking at TD Music Hall
The November 18 showcase will take place at TD Music Hall, located at 178 Victoria Street in downtown Toronto.
The evening will begin with a networking mixer from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., followed by artist performances between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m.
Although attendance is free, guests must register in advance through the event’s RSVP system. Registration does not guarantee admission, as entry will be managed on a first-come, first-served basis and will depend on venue capacity.
Organizers encourage attendees to arrive early.
Monthly Series Expands Toronto’s Live Music Opportunities
The launch of IN ROTATION adds another recurring event to Toronto’s live music calendar while providing a dedicated setting for emerging artists and industry professionals to connect.
For participating musicians, the series offers exposure to audiences and industry contacts in an established downtown performance venue.
Following the November debut, Massey Hall plans to continue presenting the showcase monthly, with three featured artists at each event.
The initiative is intended to strengthen connections between developing Canadian talent, music professionals and audiences while creating additional opportunities for artists to advance their careers.
