Formula 1 | Alfa Romeo, Bottas without points from Canadian GP

It hasn’t been an easy time for Valtteri Bottas. The Alfa Romeo driver has not won any points since the Canadian Grand Prix in mid-June, followed by seven dry weekends and several poor performances, even in qualifying, which resulted in grid penalties. After a two-week break, the Finn will be looking to regain points from the Singapore Grand Prix, which saw him finish on the podium with Mercedes in 2017.

“Over the past few weeks I’ve spent some time in the factory, working on the simulator. Bottas agreed. It’s been three years since I was last here in Singapore, a song that always makes me happy and I took to the stage in 2017. As always heat and humidity will be very important! It was a shame we didn’t get more out of the car at Monza as our pace was good all weekend. Being a street circuit, there’s not much margin for error in Singapore, but if we qualify on Saturday, I’m sure we can be in the top ten in the race.
