He is in an interview with Collider That manager Matt Shakman Finally Updates on Fantastic Four A Fantastic 4 movie has been in development at Marvel Studios for some time.

Shakman admitted that the ongoing double strike in Hollywood (which should end soon, and the writers’ strike has already been suspended) inevitably delayed work, but promised that filming would begin next year:

Yes, we will definitely start filming next year, maybe in the spring. We will be filming in London, at Pinewood Studios.

Shakman also spoke briefly about the script, promising that it would be something “never seen before”:

It’s different from the norm, in many ways. I wish I could be more specific. I wish I could say more! But we do things very differently in terms of story and cinematography. It is a more suitable method for the materials we are dealing with. I wish I could say more, but I can’t. But I think it’s going to be different from anything you’ve seen before, and certainly different from anything you’ve seen from Marvel so far.

It is noteworthy that the Fantastic Four movie was announced in December 2020.

The release date of the film is currently set May 2, 2025.
