Cesena documentary hits Hollywood

The documentary “Suspended” by Martina Dallara from Cesena has arrived in Hollywood. It has, in fact, been selected in competition at the Los Angeles Italia Film, Fashion and Arts Festival, an event that will close on March 11 at Tcl Chinese Theaters a few days before the 95th Academy Awards taking place a few meters away, at the Dolby Theatre.

Suspended, by Martina Dallara, brings together the faces, voices and stories of Italians who experienced the first lockdown abroad. With impressive research and the director’s sociological insight, One Hundred Life Experiences of Italians in Foreign Places reveals perceptions and moods of a solitude totally unexpected, between uncertainty and faith in the future. Windows on the World, which reconstructs the most important and overwhelming phenomenon of the twenty-first century. The documentary marks the feature film debut of the Romanian author and was written in collaboration with film critic Alessandro Amato.

The project was implemented with the contribution of the Municipality and through the sponsorship of the Romania Initiative Consortium, Public Order, For Foundation, Brodino Progetto Arredo, Foodstation, Gelateria Leoni, Ubik Cesena and Teleromagna.
