The call for applications focuses on projects and research in priority areas for the Government of Canada and Italy. The prize consists of reimbursement of expenses incurred for travel to Canada to meet with the Canadian partner and develop the project, up to a maximum of €3,000. In recent editions, the award has been a great success, characterized by a large number of applications from all over Italy and a high scientific-educational level. Expected capacity for results and their delivery, relevance of the thematic priorities indicated by the Canadian Embassy in Italy, possibility of meaningful and long-term cooperation between the Italian candidate and the Canadian partner, the ability to expand the cooperation to a wider organizational level , the use of creative and innovative cooperation models, the innovative use of research infrastructures and finally gender-based analysis plus (GBA+). Entries that convincingly demonstrate the value of international collaboration and the potential for innovative results and social and economic impact will receive the highest consideration.
