Family Center Together initiatives continue: 65+ children registered, places still free for August
Mantua. The Families Center’s “Summer Together” continues, with over sixty-five children enrolled in primary school in the first five weeks of activity. Several free activities take place every morning, Monday through Friday, and are carried out in cooperation with the social cooperatives Alce Nero, Fior di Loto and Il Giardino dei Bimbi.
These are all free proposals aimed at the age group of the primary school, which prefers outdoor play and movement, as well as in the interior spaces of the center located in Ariosto Road, Valletta-Falsechi district. There is, for example, the adjacent Baden-Powell Park, recently renovated with its furnishings with child-friendly tables and benches, suitable for creating art workshops.
Then, every week there are small excursions into the city, from having a snack in the center, to reading in the library, to walking in the Bosco Virgiliano or in other green areas of Mantova. And again: There’s Saturday Morning at Parcobaleno, in collaboration with Alkemica, an opportunity that allows families to combine work rather than small errands even on weekends, while the little ones learn by playing with science.
Finally, thanks to the collaboration with the Esperanza Cooperative, through the Lillà Project, every Friday in July, educational workshops between art and nutrition are planned to learn and reflect on correct eating habits from an early age.
As the commissioner claims Chiara Sortino (The center was born from cooperation and joint planning between the municipality and a dense network of special social themes) It is “a very positive experience for the participating children who have the opportunity to experience a different adventure every day. But also an innovative way of working that enriches the wealth of experience of the activity managers themselves, and reinforces this constant pollution and joint planning Which is in the style of the Center for Families Together.
For the month of August, for those interested in signing up, there is still some availability. For questions and registration: via Ariosto 61, 328.1367354; [email protected]
