Canadian alternative rock fans will have a chance to see one of the country’s most recognizable performers take the stage this week as Matthew Good and His Band headline Peterborough Musicfest. The free outdoor concert is scheduled for Wednesday, July 22, at Del Crary Park in Peterborough, Ontario, continuing the festival’s tradition of bringing major Canadian artists to local audiences each summer.

For more than 30 years, Matthew Good has been a defining voice in Canadian alternative rock. Rising to prominence with the Matthew Good Band before launching a successful solo career, he has released multiple Platinum-certified albums, earned 21 Juno Award nominations, and built a catalog of songs that remain staples of Canadian rock radio.
Fans Can Expect a Career-Spanning Setlist
Concertgoers can look forward to performances of some of Good’s best-known songs, including “Hello Time Bomb,” “Load Me Up,” “Apparitions,” “Everything Is Automatic,” and “Weapon.” Known for his energetic live performances and distinctive songwriting, Good continues to attract audiences across Canada with music that has resonated with generations of listeners.

The evening begins at 6:30 p.m. with a performance by emerging artist Graeme Jonez as part of the Future Sound Series, presented by Cogeco with support from the Gord Downie & Chanie Wenjack Fund.
