Hourly Service in Effect on Key Routes as Transit Authority Advises Riders to Check for Updates
Prince Albert Transit has implemented a modified service schedule affecting several bus routes, with key services operating on an hourly basis and the Core Express route temporarily suspended for the day.
The transit authority announced that the All Day and Rush Hour routes will continue to provide service throughout the day, departing from the downtown transfer station at 15 minutes past each hour. The adjusted schedule is intended to maintain transportation access while accommodating current operational requirements.
All Day and Rush Hour Routes Operating Hourly
Under the temporary schedule, passengers using the All Day and Rush Hour routes can expect buses to depart once every hour from the downtown transfer station. Departures are scheduled for 15 minutes past the hour, providing consistent service for commuters and other transit users travelling across the city.
Transit officials noted that the revised timetable will remain in effect until further notice and urged riders to plan their trips accordingly.
East Hill and East Flat Routes Also Running on Reduced Frequency
The East Hill and East Flat routes are likewise operating on an hourly schedule. Buses serving these routes will depart from the downtown transfer station at 45 minutes past each hour.
The hourly service is designed to ensure continued connectivity for residents while allowing the transit system to manage available resources efficiently. Riders are encouraged to arrive at their stops in advance of scheduled departure times to avoid delays.
Core Express Service Not Operating
Prince Albert Transit confirmed that the Core Express bus is not operating today. No additional details were provided regarding the suspension of the route or when regular service may resume.
Despite the temporary interruption to the Core Express service, all other transit routes are reported to be operating according to their normal schedules.
Transit Authority Urges Riders to Monitor Updates
Officials are advising passengers to check Prince Albert Transit for the latest information regarding route schedules and service changes. Any further revisions to the current operating plan will be communicated as soon as updated information becomes available.
The transit authority stated that the temporary schedule outlined above will remain in effect until additional notices are issued. Riders are encouraged to stay informed through official transit communication channels before travelling to ensure they have the most current service information.
As public transportation remains an essential service for many residents, transit officials continue to monitor operations and provide updates as conditions evolve. Passengers relying on affected routes are advised to allow extra travel time and review schedule information regularly throughout the day.
