PlayStation and Square Enix announced that A.I PS5 bundle with Final Fantasy 16, available via PlayStation Direct in the US. We do not know at the moment if it will also be published in Italy. However, the most interesting part is the announcement – for the time being for the Japanese market – of a DualSense themed controllers And one PS5 coversalso with the aesthetic of Final Fantasy 16.

The PS5 Bundle with Final Fantasy 16 includes a PlayStation 5 Standard or Digital (The latter only confirmed for the Japanese market) With a copy of Final Fantasy 16. The console is classic, with no character cover. This is Sony’s usual “console + game” package.

However, as mentioned earlier, Japanese players will also be able to purchase a Final Fantasy 16-themed DualSense controller. As you can see in the opening image, it’s black, with a series of elaborate designs. The PS5 cover, which you can see below, is also black and shows the Final Fantasy 16 logo artwork, or the collision of Phoenix and Ifrit, in gold.

As mentioned, at the moment, these products have not been confirmed for Italian market. It doesn’t help that our nation doesn’t have PlayStation Direct, even if simple packages like this are usually distributed via chains anyway. It’s even more complicated for the console and the skins, which can only be distributed in Japan in a very limited edition and thus force enthusiasts to take advantage of the import (with all associated costs).
