All Day and East Hill Routes Running Hourly; Core Express Service Suspended
Prince Albert Transit is operating on a modified schedule on June 23, with two key routes running on an hourly basis and one service temporarily suspended, according to a transit service update released by the City of Prince Albert.
Residents relying on public transportation are advised to plan their travel accordingly, as the transit system has implemented adjusted service levels for the day.
Hourly Service for All Day and East Hill Routes
Under the revised schedule, the All Day bus is operating hourly and departs from the downtown transfer station at 15 minutes past each hour. Meanwhile, the East Hill bus is also operating on an hourly schedule, leaving the downtown transfer station at 45 minutes past each hour.
The adjusted timetable is intended to maintain essential transit connectivity while accommodating operational requirements affecting service on June 23.
Passengers using either of these routes are encouraged to arrive at their stops ahead of scheduled departure times to avoid delays and ensure a smooth journey.
Core Express Service Not Operating
Prince Albert Transit confirmed that the Core Express bus is not operating on June 23. No additional details were provided regarding the reason for the temporary suspension.
All other transit routes throughout the city continue to operate according to their regular schedules.
The continuation of normal service on the remaining routes is expected to minimize disruptions for most transit users, although passengers who typically rely on the Core Express service may need to seek alternative travel arrangements.
Transit Users Encouraged to Monitor Updates
City officials are advising residents to check Prince Albert Transit’s information channels for the latest updates on routes and schedules.
According to the service notice, any further changes to the transit schedule will be communicated as soon as updated information becomes available.
“Please check Prince Albert Transit for up-to-date information on transit routes and schedules. Any revisions to this schedule will be published as soon as we have that information. Until then, the above schedule will be in effect.”
The temporary service adjustment highlights the importance of monitoring transit announcements, particularly when modified schedules are in place. Transit authorities routinely update riders through official communication channels to ensure passengers have access to the latest service information.
Service Advisory Remains in Effect
Until further notice, the June 23 operating schedule remains in effect, with hourly departures for the All Day and East Hill routes, suspension of the Core Express service, and all remaining transit routes running as scheduled.
Prince Albert Transit has indicated that any future revisions will be announced promptly, allowing commuters and residents to make informed travel decisions throughout the day.
