Hourly Service Implemented on West Flat and East Hill Routes as Core Express Remains Suspended
Prince Albert Transit has introduced temporary service adjustments for Tuesday, July 21, 2026, affecting several key bus routes across the city. The revised schedule includes hourly operations for the West Flat and East Hill routes, while the Core Express service has been temporarily suspended.
The changes are intended to provide continued public transit access while accommodating current operational requirements. Transit officials have advised passengers to review the temporary timetable before travelling, as additional updates may be issued if conditions change.
West Flat and East Hill Buses Shift to Hourly Operations
Revised Departure Times from Downtown Transfer Station
Under the temporary schedule, the West Flat bus is operating once every hour, departing from the downtown transfer station at 15 minutes past each hour.
Meanwhile, the East Hill bus is also running on an hourly schedule, with departures from the downtown transfer station at 45 minutes past each hour.
The adjusted timetable is expected to remain in effect until further notice.
Core Express Service Temporarily Suspended
Prince Albert Transit confirmed that the Core Express bus is not operating on July 21, 2026. Passengers who normally rely on the service are encouraged to use alternative transit routes where available.
Despite the temporary suspension of the Core Express, all other Prince Albert Transit routes continue to operate according to their regular schedules.
