Prime Video has released the official trailer and key art for the second season of The Terminal List, confirming that all eight episodes of the Chris Pratt-led action thriller will premiere globally on October 21, 2026.
Produced by Amazon MGM Studios, MRC and Civic Center Media, the new season expands the franchise beyond the psychological revenge story of its first instalment and into an international espionage thriller. The series will be available exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories.
Chris Pratt Returns as James Reece
Based on Jack Carr’s bestselling novels, The Terminal List follows Navy SEAL Commander James Reece, played by Pratt, as he confronts conspiracies and powerful forces operating internationally.
Season Two adapts Carr’s second novel, True Believer, and follows Reece after the events of the first season as he searches for a new purpose while confronting another far-reaching conspiracy.

It was a monumental effort by a lot of people over the course of many years, and I think you can feel that commitment in every frame. Season Two Expands Story Across Multiple Continents
The new storyline takes Reece across the Indian Ocean, Southern and Northern Africa, the Middle East and Europe. The conspiracy at the centre of the season stretches from Moscow to Langley and is also connected to Reece’s family history.
Several cast members return, including Tom Hopper as Raife Hastings, Constance Wu as Katie Buranek, Dar Salim as Mohammed Farooq and Luke Hemsworth as Jules Landry.
Gabriel Luna joins the series as Freddy Strain.
International Cast Grows for New Season
The second season also features an expanded international ensemble that includes Costa Ronin, Olga Kurylenko, Yul Vazquez, Martin Sensmeier, Arnold Vosloo, Jeremy Bobb and Shiraz Tzarfati.
Prime Video said authenticity remains a central part of the production following the approach established during the first season.
Executive producer and former Navy SEAL Jared Shaw and executive producer and former Army Ranger Max Adams oversee the show’s action and authenticity work. Military veterans are also involved throughout the production as writers, performers, technical advisers and directors.
Former Navy SEAL Ray Mendoza, whose credits include Warfare, is among the veterans contributing to the production.
The Terminal List Franchise Reaches More Than 100 Million Viewers
According to Prime Video, The Terminal List franchise has accumulated more than 100 million viewers worldwide to date, giving the company an established global audience as it prepares to launch the next chapter.
The second season is executive produced by Pratt through Indivisible Productions, writer and showrunner David DiGilio, Carr, Antoine Fuqua and Kat Samick through Fuqua Films, Adams and Shaw.
Fuqua, known for directing action and crime films, remains a key executive producer as the franchise broadens its international scope.
Prime Video Continues Investment in Global Streaming Content
The release comes as Prime Video continues to build its entertainment and sports offering internationally. In Canada, the service combines original and licensed movies and television series with live sports, including NHL, NBA, WNBA and PWHL programming.
Customers can also access additional streaming subscriptions through the platform, including Canadian services and sports offerings such as Crave, Citytv+, RDS, Sportsnet, TSN and TVA Sports.
For The Terminal List, the October launch represents the next stage of a franchise that Prime Video is positioning for a broad international audience while retaining its focus on military action, espionage and the personal story of James Reece.
All eight episodes of The Terminal List Season Two are scheduled to arrive on Prime Video on October 21, 2026.
