Two groups of indoor hockey games related to the Men’s Second Division and Under-16 Federal Championships will be held on 2 and 9 January 2022 at Bal Alberti in Barcelona BG (ME).
The events, organized by PGS Don Bosco 2000 for the first time in its history, will see the participation of important Sicilian teams: in addition to the people of Barcelona, led by technician Sebastiano Matzio, HC Ragusa, SSD Unime, recommended GS, Paul Valverde and Bo Messina.
Two other concentrations will complement the group photo, which will also take place in Ragusa and Messina, again in January. The winner will get a place in the National Finals in February in Cairo Montenotte, Liguria.
“We are very proud to host the indoor hockey tournaments for the first time – stated Barcelona president Sergio Fraumeni – a system that our club has been practicing for many years (in the field hockey winter break) but never had the opportunity to do so in our city. It will be an important occasion from the point of view of A mathematical look and it will represent an appreciation for the work done and the commitment that has been made in our activities which we do every day in our home as always, the Salesian Oratory of Saint Michael the Archangel.
It is clear that in the still challenging context in which we live, our concern for safety will be to the max and everything will be done in accordance with current antivirus regulations.”
“Access to the public will be free – according to the report of director and technician Giuseppe Genovese – and we expect the presence of enthusiasts and spectators in the building. Special thanks to all the directors, parents, former athletes and friends who have championed our cause and supported us in the organization.”
