Lohman’s hat trick leads Vermont 10U hockey team to 7-4 victory | News, sports, jobs

FAIRMONT – Lojean Loman scored a hat-trick to lead the Fairmont 10U girls hockey team to a 7-4 win over Worthington last Saturday.

Alayna Kurt, Broke Ruppert, Emersyn Ebeling and Kenzley Tietje each contributed a goal to the victory.

Goalkeeper Mia Wiederhoft made four saves for Vermont 10U, which travels to Austin on Sunday for a 10:30 a.m. showdown.

Fairmont 12U 4, Worthington 1 – Jiminy Lopez scored all four goals to lead Fairmont to a three-goal win over Worthington last Sunday at Martin County Arena.

Hayden Olson made one assist for Vermont, while goalkeeper Nola Hazard made 26 saves to seal the win.

Fairmont 12U travels to Marshall on Sunday for a 3 p.m. showdown.

The Fairmont Bantams had two wins and a draw during the ice event last weekend.

Noah Mixell scored a hat-trick to lead Vermont to a 7-0 win over Alexandra last Saturday at Martin County Arena.

Bryce Rushen and Preston Gerdes each scored two goals in the win.

Preston Cypress scored twice to lead Vermont to a 3-1 victory over Moose Lake last Saturday.

Bryce Ihrke contributed one goal to the winning effort.

Cypress and Gerdes each scored twice, while Kaden Wickert added a goal to help Vermont salvage a 5-all tie with Hutchinson last Sunday.

The Fairmont Bantams travel to Sartell today for the 6:30 p.m. contest.
