Wisconsin heavy rock veterans Carbellion have released a new music video and single, “This Is Our Style,” offering the latest preview of the band’s forthcoming full-length album of the same name.
The 11-track This Is Our Style is scheduled for release on Nov. 13, 2026, through Eclipse Records. The project follows the band’s 2023 album Weapons of Choice and continues its combination of heavy rock, desert rock and stoner influences.
The title track is the second of three planned music videos connected to the new record. Directed by Kenny Boufadene of Studio Meltdown, the video was filmed during the Violators Car Club’s private annual gathering in July 2026 and puts classic American muscle cars alongside the band’s heavy guitar-driven sound.
Carbellion Connects Heavy Rock With Muscle-Car Culture
Rather than using a studio environment or green-screen production, Carbellion filmed “This Is Our Style” on location, using the car club gathering as the backdrop for a song built around interests shared by the band members.
The resulting video emphasizes classic vehicles, rock music and the camaraderie surrounding both scenes. The track itself takes a slower, groove-focused approach designed to complement the imagery and automotive theme.
Drummer Brent Nimz said the concept emerged naturally from interests shared across the group.
“I thought it would be cool to write a song about something all of us in the band genuinely connect over.” explains drummer Brent Nimz. “ We all love muscle cars and music, so it felt natural to bring those two things together and build a song around that shared passion. I knew from the start that I wanted to keep the tempo a little slower and give the song a heavier, more powerful feel. I wanted to write something that felt good cruising down the road—one of those songs where you can’t help but nod your head to the beat or tap your foot along with it. The groove was important to me, and I wanted it to have that steady, driving feel from beginning to end. I also wanted the chorus to be simple, memorable, and the kind of thing that would stick in your head after just a couple of listens. To me, this is really about combining two things we all love and turning that into a song that feels like us.”
New Album Builds on More Than Two Decades of Heavy Rock
Formed in 2004 in southeastern Wisconsin, Carbellion has spent more than two decades developing a sound that combines traditional heavy rock with desert and stoner-rock elements.
The current lineup consists of Brandon Bauer on guitar, Cameron Kellenberger on vocals, Brent Nimz on drums, Jamie Damrow on lead guitar and Steve Sheppard on bass.
This Is Our Style includes 10 original compositions and a cover of “Open Up Your Eyes,” originally recorded by alternative rock band Tonic. Among the album’s other highlighted tracks is “I Don’t Want to Be Your Dog,” which explores the darker side of the rock-and-roll lifestyle.
“Get Down,” meanwhile, is positioned as a thematic follow-up to “Barfight” from Weapons of Choice.
Production Team Includes Chris Djuricic and Andy VanDette
Carbellion produced the new album alongside Chris Djuricic, whose credits include work with Nonpoint, Soil and Jungle Rot. Recording took place at Belle City Sound.
Mastering was handled by Andy VanDette at Evolve Mastering. VanDette’s previous credits include Beastie Boys, Porcupine Tree and Rush, while Chris Schultz created the album artwork.

November Release Extends Carbellion’s Latest Chapter
The title track arrives as Carbellion continues the rollout leading to the November release, building on the direction established with Weapons of Choice three years earlier.
With “This Is Our Style,” the Wisconsin quintet is placing its shared enthusiasm for heavy music and automotive culture at the centre of the campaign. The album is set for worldwide release on Nov. 13 through Eclipse Records, with the title track now available across digital music platforms.
