Robert Justus is the new women’s national hockey coach
The Dutch technician signed the contract at the FH offices
Rome, February 21. (askanews) – The Italian Hockey Federation has announced the name of the coach who will lead the Italian women’s team: Robert Justus.
The 43-year-old Dutch coach, according to a note from Fih, has been coaching the Belgian women’s team of Dragons for four seasons, in which he was a permanent member of the playoffs. Belgium, like the Netherlands, is considered an Elite country in hockey – both at the club level and at the national level – and it is no coincidence that Belgium won gold in the male category at the last Olympics. Several of the female players who currently play for the women’s national team also play in Belgium.

Federal President Sergio Minardi confirms that what Justos sees at the helm of the women’s national team is a “project with an international purpose” and thanks “Belgian Dragons Club for their presence, but above all CONI for their support and confidence”.
