The grand finale of the season for Como Hockey. The Casate building today and tomorrow will be conquered by future U-11 champions who will give life to the 34th edition of the Gosetto tournament.

The leader of the biancoblù is also one of the oldest on the Italian and international scene. Another important moment is the game of old glories, on the ice this Saturday at 7 pm to honor the memory of another Como hockey icon, goalkeeper Alfredo Luraghi, who died prematurely. Dedicating the youth tournament to Stefano Josito, who died in a car accident in 1985, was a perfect way to keep the memory alive, even in those who didn’t know him, of the symbolic Como hockey player. Twelve teams will face each other, divided into two elimination rounds, starting on Saturday morning at 9 with the Como-Schiavenna Hockey Derby, with the novelty of an all-female team, the Powerpuff Girls, with Italian and Swiss players.

The other eleven teams are: Bern 96, Biel-Bienne Spirit AG, Sursee, Bellinzona and Rivers, winners of last year’s edition for Switzerland; Chamonix for France; Mac Budapest with the blue and yellow team of Hungary; Diavoli Sesto san Giovanni and HC Chiavenna as well as hosts for Italy. Last Sunday at 4.50pm.
