Prime Video has released the official trailer for Campus Drivers, its first French Young Adult Prime Original series, ahead of its worldwide premiere on November 6, 2026. Starring Carmen Kassovitz and Baptiste Masseline, the six-episode romantic drama will launch in France and more than 240 countries and territories, including Canada.
Adapted from the bestselling novels by French author C.S. Quill, the production represents another investment in young adult entertainment as Prime Video expands its catalogue of internationally produced original programming.
Campus Drivers Brings Bestselling French Novels to Television
The upcoming series is based on C.S. Quill’s Campus Drivers novels, published by Hugo Publishing.
According to Prime Video, the books have sold nearly one million copies in France, providing the television adaptation with an established readership.
The story follows Lois, a university student whose plans for the future initially appear secure after she gains admission to the prestigious Belrose University alongside Max, her longtime romantic interest.
Her circumstances change following a painful breakup, bringing her into contact with Lane, a student entrepreneur known for his independent personality and reluctance to pursue serious relationships.
Lane is the creator of Campus Drivers, a popular transportation application operating within the university community.
When Lois unexpectedly arrives at his doorstep, the two begin living together despite their contrasting personalities and lifestyles.
Their relationship develops into a complicated romance involving unresolved emotional experiences, personal expectations and unexpected attraction.
Carmen Kassovitz and Baptiste Masseline Lead the Cast
Carmen Kassovitz, known for Stalk, portrays Lois, while Baptiste Masseline, whose credits include Mixte, plays Lane.
The supporting cast includes Madior Fall, Esteban Vial, Felix Nebel, Enzo Lorente, Paolo Luka-Noé, Eloïse Rey, Louna Balavoine and Cassandra Cano.
The ensemble brings together performers associated with several French and international television and film productions.
The adaptation combines campus life, romance and personal relationships, themes that have become central to Prime Video’s expanding young adult programming strategy.
French Production Team Develops Six-Episode Series
Thomas Boullé Creates Campus Drivers for Prime Video
Campus Drivers was created by Thomas Boullé, whose previous credits include Erica.
Tom Goris, associated with Knokke Off: Jeunesse dorée, and Vianney Lebasque, known for Les Grands, are credited with writing and directing the production.
The series was produced by Campus Entertainment, a company within Empreinte Digitale.
All six episodes are scheduled to become available exclusively on Prime Video on November 6.
The international release will allow viewers outside France, including Canadian subscribers, to access the French-language production through the streaming platform.
Prime Video Expands Young Adult Entertainment Strategy
The launch follows the September 18 release of You+Me – Against the World, another production aimed at young adult audiences in France.
Together, the projects form part of Prime Video’s efforts to strengthen its presence in the young adult entertainment market.
The streaming service has previously developed or distributed titles targeting similar audiences, including the Culpables trilogy and Maxton Hall.
More recent additions to its young adult programming lineup include Off Campus and Sterling Point.
The strategy reflects the platform’s continued use of established literary properties and internationally produced dramas to reach audiences across multiple territories.
Adapting popular novels also provides streaming companies with recognizable stories and existing fan communities, although audience performance for Campus Drivers will only become clear after its release.
Campus Drivers Will Be Available to Canadian Prime Video Subscribers
Canadian viewers will be able to access Campus Drivers when the series premieres internationally on November 6, 2026.
Prime Video’s Canadian service offers original films and television series, licensed entertainment and live sports programming, including NHL, NBA, WNBA and PWHL coverage.
The platform also provides access to additional streaming subscriptions, including Crave, BritBox, Paramount+, Sportsnet, TSN and STACKTV.
Its international distribution network allows original productions developed for individual markets to reach viewers well beyond their countries of origin.
Campus Drivers Prepares for International Streaming Release
With its official trailer released and a November premiere confirmed, Campus Drivers becomes the latest French literary adaptation entering Prime Video’s international entertainment catalogue.
The six-episode series combines an established bestselling book franchise with a new television cast and a university-based romantic storyline.
Its release will further expand Prime Video’s French-language original programming while providing Canadian audiences with another international young adult drama.
