New Megan Park Series to Premiere Globally on August 5 With All Eight Episodes Available on Prime Video

TORONTO, Canada — June 9, 2026 — Prime Video has unveiled the official trailer and new images for Sterling Point, an upcoming coming-of-age drama series created by Megan Park. The eight-episode series will premiere globally on August 5, with all episodes available exclusively on Prime Video across more than 240 countries and territories.
The newly released trailer features “Look at My Life,” a new track from Gracie Abrams’ upcoming album Daughter from Hell, which is scheduled for release on July 17. The song provides the musical backdrop for the emotional journey at the centre of the series, which explores identity, family connections and personal discovery.
A Young Woman’s Journey From New York to Canada
Sterling Point follows 17-year-old Annie Jacobson, played by Ella Rubin, whose life changes unexpectedly after inheriting a mysterious island in Canada from her grandfather.
Raised in New York City with her twin brother and supportive adoptive father, Annie finds herself navigating a new environment filled with unfamiliar relationships, emerging romances and long-hidden family secrets. The series explores the challenges of growing up while uncovering the history behind her unexpected inheritance.
The cast features Ella Rubin alongside Keen Ruffalo as Annie’s twin brother and Jay Duplass as her adoptive father. Additional cast members include Amélie Hoeferle (The Hunger Games: The Ballad Of Songbirds & Snakes, Night Swim), Jacob Whiteduck-Lavoie (Billie Blue), Daniel Quinn-Toye (Sunny Dancer), Bo Bragason (Renegade Nell, The Radleys), Jeffrey Dean Morgan (The Walking Dead), Nikko Angelo Hinayo (Davey & Jonesie’s Locker), Mabel Strachan (The Ridge), Elle-Maija Tailfeathers (Three Pines) and Missi Pyle (Harlan Coben’s Shelter).
Megan Park Leads Creative Team Behind New Drama
The series is created by Megan Park, who also serves as director, co-showrunner and executive producer. Park is known for directing the acclaimed film My Old Ass and brings her experience in character-driven storytelling to the new Prime Video production.
Executive production responsibilities are shared with Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage under their Fake Empire banner, along with Dani Gorin and Tom Ackerley under LuckyChap.
Sterling Point is produced by Amazon MGM Studios, Fake Empire and LuckyChap, bringing together production teams behind a range of successful film and television projects.
The series aims to combine emotional storytelling with themes of family, belonging and self-discovery as Annie explores her new surroundings and the mysteries connected to her grandfather’s past.
