Seasonal debut for the Foxes – friendly against Cortina in Corvara

HCB Alto Adige Alperia are holding their four-day retreat on the ice at Corvara in Badia. Under Sassongher, the Foxes are preparing for the new season, under the orders of coach Glenn Hanlon, assistant coach Fabio Armani and sporting coach Daniele Perozzo. The pre-season will include eight friendly matches, the first of which will be played tomorrow, Saturday 24 August. 6:00 PM againstHavero CortinaAlpsHL team. After the match, we meet at the rural festival, in the pine forest near the stadium, organized by HC Alta Badia, where the team will also be present.

What has been renamed the ‘Derby of Champions’ will see the two most successful teams in Italy face off, Bolzano, with its 90-year history, and Cortina, which this year celebrates its centenary: the red, white and blue-white, protagonists of many tricolour battles, will meet again more than 11 years after the last time (January 2, 2013, round 33 of the Italian championship with the Foxes winning 3-1 at the Palaonda, thanks to goals from Doregatti, McCutcheon and Flynn).

Coach Hanlon will be able to count on all members of the roster, including the youngsters who joined the withdrawal, with the exception of Enrico Improvinzi, Mike Halmo and Anthony Salinitri, who have been doing different work in recent days.

Tickets are on sale online at https://www.midaticket.it/eventi/hockey-club-bolzano They will be available at the stadium ticket offices two hours before the match. The match is included in the basic and full season ticket from HCB. Children registered at HC Alta Badia will be able to enter for a cost of €1. The fox merchandise will also be available at the Corvara stadium, which can also be purchased at the Moviment partner Alta Badia’s MoviShop, on Col Alt 40.
