The Romance Writers of Atlantic Canada is joining efforts with Bconnected’s Lynn MacMichael to present a unique pre-Valentine’s Halifax networking event.

The Romance Writers of Atlantic Canada have teamed up with Bconnected and its president Lynn MacMichael to coordinate a Halifax networking event to celebrate Valentine’s Day and to provide an opportunity for the business and writing communities to mingle. In keeping with Bconnected’s dedication to progressive networking, this event breaks the rules and offers those who come a unique and fun atmosphere for building relationships.

The Halifax networking event, entitled “Nova Scotia Networking: A Romantic Affair” will host members of Halifax’s elite networking community along with local romance writers. Halifax is home to many authors who are world-renowned for their works. The purpose of the event is to help Halifax business people get to know some of the talented authors in the city and to provide the opportunity for new connections to be formed.

The event is also an opportunity for members of both the business community and the writing community to enjoy an evening out with their loved ones for a pre-Valentine’s celebration. Dates are welcome to join in on the fun, and the atmosphere will be hard to beat. Attendees will be surrounded both by the visual arts and the written word, and appetizers will be provided by George and Lito’s.

Admission to the event is free, and there will be a cash bar on site. “Nova Scotia Networking: A Romantic Affair” will take place on Thursday, February 10 at the Argyle Fine Art Gallery (1559 Barrington Street, Suite 102) from 6:00-9:00 p.m.
