Press Release: Revolution Audio 5th Anniversary Event

Bookmark and Share

Mississauga, ON - Nov. 7th, 2009 - Five years old, the Revolution is strong and growing! This is not a violent uprising, but a musical one where the tools to record high quality CD and radio ready tracks have been given to the masses. Revolution Audio is at the center of this revolution in Canada, lighting fires under musicians to setup home recording studios and release their music through CD's or over the internet. They are throwing a party on Nov. 7th, 12-5pm at their Mississauga storefront and anyone is welcome. There will be cool recording demonstrations, great prizes and, of course, cupcakes.

Two key demonstrators will be joining the festivities. Dave Miner, product specialist from Yamaha / Steinberg Canada, will be demonstrating the new features in the amazing Cubase 5 recording software and giving away a free copy of Cubase Studio 5. Michel "Stabba" Dumont from Digidesign/Avid will be here on his last stop from the USA showing off the new Eleven Rack Pro Tools recording solution, on it's first tour through Canada. This new recording or live device emulates thousands of guitar sounds and is amazing guitar players everywhere.

Revolution Audio was started by Mississauga resident, Jason Johnston. He was just a musician who wanted to record his own songs and was interested in how to do it at home. After recording himself and others in his home studio for a number of years, he started to see the potential for high quality recordings at home. This passion grew into a business centered around educating the customer about what equipment and knowledge was needed to get the job done. The revolution that was started with one has now spread to many in the last five years in the GTA and across the country.

About Revolution Audio - Revolution Audio continues to spark the home studio uprising online and from its Mississauga storefront since 2004. Thousands of musicians are joining this new revolution of recording their own music at home and Revolution Audio is helping them through equipment and software sales, consultation and educational classes. - 327 Lakeshore Rd. E, Mississauga, ON
